Welcome!

Hi! I’m Sandi and excited to share my story with you and why I started this blog.

With three grown children, eight grandchildren, I’ve had the opportunity of working in various fields. However, the knowledge and insights I’ll be sharing is what I  have learned from over two decades in the financial industry. I’ve realized that, regardless of where you are in your financial journey, there’s always more to learn.

This realization led me to create Moneymonster Kids, a platform dedicated to sharing the ideas and knowledge I’ve accumulated over the years. My goal is to reach parents, classroom teachers, and homeschooling teachers, providing them with valuable resources and insights into financial matters.

I believe in the importance of instilling financial awareness in children from a early age. Through open conversations, parents can convey to their kids the significance of earning money and the role of a bank as a place to hold those earnings. Money concepts are crucial for children to grasp, and sometimes, this topic is overlooked both in schools and at home.

Understanding money from a young age sets the stage for better decision-making as children grow older. Moneymonster Kids is my way of contributing to this journey, ensuring that children have the tools and knowledge they need for a financially informed future.
